Nima Stoneware ceramics were featured on the cover and throughout the Syrian cuisine cookbook, The Scent of Pomegranates and Rose Water: Reviving the Beautiful Traditions of Syria. According to the book’s authors…
“The traditions of Syrian cooking [...] are notable for their sensory components, in which aroma and texture are as important as taste and nutrition.”
…so it’s no surprise that Nima Stoneware pieces were selected to enhance the dishes featured throughout the book—our ceramics are heavily influenced by the arabesque textures and patterns of the islamic world. Works from Jackie Frioud Pottery were also selected.
