Online Shop Launch
I’m very pleased to announce the Labour Day launch of Nima Stoneware’s online shop!
On Monday, September 7th at 12:00pm PST nimastoneware.com/shop will go live with functional ware. So much work, so excited, yet so little steam left to celebrate. But hey, it’s done, yay!
here’s a sneak peek
First off, credit where it’s due… the pandemic is the reason I finally got the online shop completed. While I’ve spent years pining over an online store, successful summer market seasons and a busy day job always meant the shop was put on hold when stock (and energy) ran out. And, if I’m being entirely honest with you, as an former magazine art director and current communication design instructor, I always hold myself to unreasonably high aesthetic standards (which is a bit of problem when you need to learn to do product photography yourself instead of hiring professionals). But, with the coronavirus pandemic, the markets I participate in are suspended while my closets are still bursting with ceramics. So, after a lot of trial and error, pestering of friends for help (THANK YOU!) the purchase of new photography kit and buckets of anxiety, here we are! I look forward to providing you and all the ceramic lovers out there with Nima Stoneware pieces to enrich their home.
