When in Doubt, YouTube it

We all get stuck on a crochet stitch or technique every now and again. If we didn’t, we wouldn’t be learning anything and our crochet skills would stagnate. When this happens and you don’t have a crochet expert in your pocket to consult, head for YouTube.

While each crocheter has a different learning style, I find that video learning is a great universal teaching tool. Yes, you might find stitch diagrams or having a crochet instructor right there with you beneficial; but, let’s face it, they are not always readily available when you’re having a stitch dilemma.

On YouTube you’ll find crochet masters who’ve generously posted crochet video tutorials. From the basic stitches, special finishing, changing colors and unusual joins, it’s all there. For a list of great YouTube crochet contributors, check the Nattypat Crochet YouTube feed for channels I’ve subscribed to or do a YouTube keyword search for exactly what you’re looking for. And don’t forget to check the videos I’ve created too :).
